Run by Rickmansworth Waterways Trust, the Canal Centre is the hub of our education work and our information centre. It stocks a range of books, gifts and ice creams – everything its visitors need for a day by the lock-side. It sees thousands of visitors through its doors every year.

The Canal Centre is open 9am to 4pm Wednesday to Friday and 10am to 5pm at weekends. Nearby is the popular Batchworth Lock, starting point for boat trips, other canal side events and exploring the local area.
