With about 25,000 people coming over the weekend, you'll find a great range of opportunities to interact with our community. You may want to come as a performer in music, dance or verse; to present your Charity or organisation; to sell your wares; to cater for the visitors; or to bring your boat.

PLEASE NOTE - All remaining catering space has now been allocated. We do maintain a list of caterers who are interested in attending in future years so if you wish to be considered for catering and be added to our list please email to register your interest.


We have now closed the booking process to new traders for the 2022 Rickmansworth Festival.

Those who have attended last year have already been contacted about applying and moorings are now open to boaters who wish to attend the Festival for the first time. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions and the mooring information prior to making your bookings. By applying for a mooring you are agreeing to comply with all these documents. Once you have done this follow this link to access the online booking form. The prices, including an early bookings discount of £10 before March 1st are:

Narrowboat £35 (£45 after March 1st)

Widebeam £55 (£65 after March 1st)

Cruiser up to 8ft wide £35 (£45 after March 1st)

Trading Boat £120

Charity Trading £50

Charity Not Trading Free

Boats of historic Interest Pre 1950 Free

You should receive an automatic acknowledgement of your application, including a copy of the information entered, within 24 hours of submitting your form. This reply will be sent to the email address you enter, so please ensure this is correct. Please note that this acknowledgement does not constitute a mooring confirmation, which you will receive separately, together with a booking reference and payment instructions. As you know, the demand for moorings at the event is high and all available space was full at the last Festival in 2019. We process bookings in the order received however we must have received your payment for your mooring to be confirmed. If you have any problems meeting this requirement, please get back to us and we will work with you to try to find a resolution. We will always try to accommodate any special requests but cannot guarantee this.

Note If you wish to bring a boat and Trade on the canal you need to fill in both a boat mooring form and a trade form so we can capture all the required information.
